Plekanec only played one game this week, in which he got an assist, but due to the lack of action he slipped another two spots in Extraliga scoring, down to 5th overall. He still leads Klado in scoring by 3 points.

Kaberle wasn't able to put up any points in Kladno's single game this week, and has now gone 3 straight games without a point after recording an assist in his first 3 straight games.

Pacioretty only played one of Ambri's 3 games last week after coming down with the flu. Max still hasn't been able to get any puck luck, with just 1 goal on 22 shots.

Diaz keeps getting better and better, having another great week that put him above a point per game in the Swiss league.

Weber couldn't keep pace with his countryman Diaz this week, and fell behind in the battle of the Swiss Habs defensemen by 4 points.

Markov grabbed his first KHL point this week, an assist in a win for Vityaz. Hopefully even with the goon team surrounding him, he can start wracking up some points and get his confidence up.

Prospects

Another week and another couple games where Collberg doesn't get the icetime he deserves, but he managed to add another assist for his second career SEL point.

Nygren continues to play big minutes for Färjestads and contribute offensively.

Nystrom had a great week capped off by a dominant game yesterday where he scored tallied an assist and two goals, including the game winning goal.

Pribyl finally got into game action with Sparta, and nabbed an assist. He was also used in the dying seconds of the game when Sparta was fighting to tie the game. Perhaps things will turn around now for Pribyl's development, as maybe the coaching staff has begun to trust him.

Engqvist is putting up a pretty impressive season in the KHL for his talent level. The added time and space that comes with the big ice seems to benefit his game.

Trunev has gone from contributing, to a slump, to a healthy scratch in just a month. Not a great sign for his future.

Galchenyuk continues to improve, now above a point per game in Sarnia. His play is still above his production level as he seems to tower over his peers as talent goes.

Vail hasn't slowed down yet this year, continuing to perform above expectations and leading the Spitfires offensively and defensively.

Archambault had a breakout week in the Q, bringing his season up to a point per game. There's no question about his talent, but Archambault really needs to use his teammates better. He's now on a 4 game point streak.

Hudon continues to impress, especially with his goal scoring. In just 9 games, he's totaled 32% of his entire last season's goals. He's also shooting the lights out, putting up more shots per game than top prospect Jonathan Huberdeau.

Dietz continues at the same pace as the last two weeks, with a goal every 3 games. Not recording an assist in his first 9 games after 29 in 72 last year is likely indicative of the struggling Blades, who have aspirations of a memorial cup, although they need to dig themselves out of this rut.

Thrower started the week by being healthy scratch again, although Blades fans are not happy with that decision by the coaching staff. The Memorial Cup hosting Blades are now last in the entire WHL with just 4 points.

Bozon had a ridiculous week where he put up two points per game. The 3rd round pick continues to impress as he leads the Blazers to the top of the WHL.

Bennett has started the year off on the right foot, putting up a point in each of his first two games in the NCAA.
