The Montreal Canadiens posted the dream job for those wanting to cover the Habs throughout the 2011-12 NHL season. Not living in Montreal, I am now kicking my feet in frustration. But then again many say I have the perfect face for radio. I decided to pass the link on to some friends who might be interested. One of them made an intersting observation. See if you can see it. "The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics: •Fluently, perfectly bilingual (English and French) •Passionate and knowledgeable about sports in general, hockey in particular, and the Canadiens specifically •Versed in pop culture and various media appealing to both our players and the 18-34 demographic (music/TV/film) •Presents well •Has previous experience/is comfortable performing in front of a camera •At ease talking with new people; charming, spontaneous and can think on her feet •Recognizes critical importance of discretion around a professional sports organization •Has a valid passport and ability to travel regularly between the United States and Canada" I've posted an inquiry with the Canadiens organization on it. Surprising there is no "equal opportunity" employer notation following the posting either.
