You have to play the game
Seriously, toughness is a part of hockey, it's a shame that uneducated fans think that tough is fighting. Tough is a guy getting stiches and not missing a shift, toughness is laying down in front of a 100mph frozen puck to block a shot, toughness is playing without an ACL like Yzerman did in the playoffs or Georges did for years (mind you an injury that ends a season let alone a career in many cases in other sports).
The best part about hearing the Bruins feed via CentreIce is the commentators thought that the B's had a good first period...WHAT??? 0-2? They really have no idea how to win a game. I can't believe that, seriously, no player or coach has no idea how to beat the Habs. I love that the loudmouth (you wanna talk disrespectful rookies!) Marchand could have turned the game around in the third...and nothing. The Habs were ripe for the taking, but the midget was eaten alive by Price.
Really in the last game the Habs didn't play their style, this game they did and the result was the same as the vast majority of the last 10 games against the B's...the team that played hockey, won.
Get well soon Patches, hockey ain't the most important thing in life (although it seems it sometimes). Worst hit I've seen since Travis Roy at BU. Glad it didn't have the obvious ramifications for Travis, I hope the longstanding (AKA. Crosby effect) impact is mild. Good luck with your rehab boy-o, there are a lot of Tricolours rooting for you!

If you didn’t see this, I don’t know how you could say there wasn’t intent. He didn’t just wall him off, he appears to lift him up to hit the divider. Mr Marfan knew what he was doing. The still makes it crystal clear in my mind…the NHL probably not…maybe Colin Campbell has had too many concussions, the only way they’d let this garbage go on.
