So Habs fans were getting annoyed by Jay Rosehill's tactics during Saturday's loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Jacques Martin summed things up this way on Sunday, "It’s tough for me to ask Raphael Diaz to pick up David Steckel and throw him around."
With the team struggling, and facing the Flyers and Bruins this week, maybe they should look at calling up Fitz!
Zack Fitgerald led the AHL in penalty minutes two seasons ago, and has 31 in 5 games so far to go with a single goal.
He's on and AHL deal, so I'd have to see how the team handles that kind of call-up.
Could it really hurt at this point? Only problem is the 'Dogs are hurting for d-men at the moment.

After today’s trade, signing Fitz would put us at the 50 contract limit. I’d rather not waste that last spot on a guy that will play 2 minutes to take out a guy that plays 8 minutes.
Blunden will help a bit with the toughness issue.

That’s what I figured, with Fitz only at an AHL deal. Hopefully Blunden can answer the call, especially in Boston.
