Avtsin parts with Dynamo
Alexander Avtsin and Dynamo Moscow decided to break the player's contract as he wants to try and get a spot with the Canadiens, as reported by Sport-Express.

An Alex Ovechkin clone in our midst, at 6’3 and speed to burn…. can we but hope for him to be the steal of the 2009 draft and make it onto the roster this year??
