I've folloowed the Canadiens for as long as I can remember and I have see the pride of this team disappear over this season. The excusses are many but one thing is for sure , This team as with many others have players that wear their pride right next to their wallets and when difficult times come along the mighty ships crew abandon the dream and hop on the next so called hope. I think we have a large problem in todays NHL in that recognizing greatness,  the NHL players depend more on their agents to make them great instead of looking at their own skills and adding to the greatness of this great game. There are far too many players that lack the hockey heart thats needed to excel at the profession that they have chosen and somehow convinced someone that they have it.

I still hold out hope for the future of greatness but wonder if ever it can be found in todays NHL.
