The Canadiens organization never disappoints

They never repeat themselves when it comes to ceremony, yet they always find a way to do it right. Seeing all those players one last time on the ice was a big thrill.

When Roy came out, I couldn’t believe it. They always know how to instantly connect you to their glorious past.

And Guy Lafleur steals the show by saying “You partied some nights, We partied EVERY night”, amazing night!

Thanks for another great post

Robert –
Thanks so much for this post. I wasn’t able to catch the ceremonies on TV, so this is great. I can’t watch the videos without a tingle down my spine and a lump in my throat, especially the pre-game skate. What memories it brings back to see all the Greats take the ice!
This is something I hope becomes available on DVD – it’s one of the memorable nights in Canadiens’ history. Do you or any of your readers know if it’s going to be done, or at least considered?

Thanks again!

Phil LeDuc

p.s. – a CD I mentioned previously to you is finally being mailed today. Sorry for the delay.

Hey, they’ve sold every other marketable thing right?

There are game worn jerseys from this one, to be auctioned off.
